PT-141 is administered via a tiny injection. Insulin needles will be provided, and you will be instructed on how to inject at our office. Afterward, you can keep the medication refrigerated at home and self-administer as per recommendations.

Subcutaneous injections are typically administered in areas where there are fat deposits in the body. Points of injection might include the lower abdomen, stomach area, or the thigh.

The general dosage for PT-141 Dosage: Sub Q (men and women) 2mg dose, 1 to 2 hours before sex (for first time injecting, it is recommended to inject 1mg for a test dose, then add 1mg more 30 minutes later).

Titration may be needed to achieve the desired response. You do not want to exceed 2mg in 72 hours. Everyone’s response and timing of the drug is different per person. Some see an effect within minutes, and others may take up to 2 hours after injection.
